Is this becoming a new trend? We read about such stories in the newspaper, and hear it blaring on our TV sets as we change our clothes or sip tea. we are shocked,upset and eventually desensitized.Stranger and more gruesome stories replace the old ones. We have culture of impunity.We turn a blind eye ,Perhaps the rise in numbers is a result of the rise in our population.Child marriage is still technically legal. There is no good news for our daughters. When i see my daughter, I am reminded of the girl who was left almost lifeless in the turmeric fields.Why are we falling these girls? Why are we falling our future?
